When winter weather approaches, we want you to know we’re keeping an eye on conditions because we value your safety. We hope to not cancel services but safety has to be a priority for everyone who attends Mosaic. There are many who come to Mosaic from all different terrains and weather patterns therefore, please be careful and decide for yourself before traveling to attend service with us.
In the event of inclement weather on the weekends, please check the Mosaic Bible Church website for updates. If a decision to cancel service is made this information will be posted to the website by 7:00 AM on Sunday. Additionally, we will also post this information on the Mosaic Bible Church Facebook page and send a church wide email via our Community Church Builder network. Please ensure Mosaic has up to date contact information to avoid missing these emails.

n case of inclement weather during weekdays, check with your respective ministry leader for updates and cancellations.
Below are some of the factors that go into making a decision to cancel a service:
- Are the roads unsafe in Winchester and around the building or will the roads be unsafe by the time the service is over? We love to worship as a faith family, but we would not want anyone to be involved in a wreck or be injured. If the roads are unsafe in town we will cancel service.
- Will our set-up/tear-down team be in danger in the weather? As a mobile church we have a large trailer with lots of equipment. If having those teams in on the roads later as weather gets bad, means putting them in danger or less than acceptable conditions, we will cancel service. In some cases we may elect to hold a “family style” service with limited set-up to ensure a balance of safety with the typical Mosaic worship.
In all decisions our pastoral team will be monitoring local traffic and weather information as well as the VDOT live traffic reporting to ensure we make that best choice possible for everyone.
