As the primary teaching pastor, Pastor James has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture from a gospel-centered perspective. He and his wife Mary have seven children. James is passionate about reaching people that are often overlooked by many churches.
"Church is not for good people… its for bad people. Church is not for the whole but for the broken. Church is not for families that got it all together but for families that are falling apart! At Mosaic we are building a faith community that is for the single mom trying to hold it all together… for the single college student that is looking for purpose and meaning not just success… for that person who have never gone to church, looking for hope and healing…"
Pastor James is passionate about what he calls "shoe leather christianity": If what you learn on Sunday morning does not impact and transform the way you walk on Monday then it is not worth learning. The Gospel is not made for sunday morning but transforms our daily lives Monday through Saturday!
